Worm and Giardia Test Triple Saver Pack
Our Dog Worm and Giardia Test Triple Saver Pack offers excellent value and a thorough parasite screen for dogs and cats. This easy to use kit combines our trusted Dog Worm Count Test, Canine Lungworm Test, and Giardia Test in one package. It provides an accurate, affordable way to check your pet’s health from home.
Comprehensive Parasite Screening
The Dog Worm and Giardia Test pack screens for a wide range of parasites, including:
- Roundworm, hookworm and tapeworm identified through our detailed Dog Worm Count Test.
- Lungworm (including Angiostrongylus vasorum) detected with specialist overnight techniques.
- Giardia, a common intestinal parasite in dogs, identified by detecting Giardia antigens.
Giardia infections may cause diarrhoea, weight loss, bloating, vomiting, and lethargy. Testing early with a Dog Worm and Giardia Test helps you manage these issues quickly and protect your pet’s wellbeing.
Test Timescales and Validity
Each Giardia antigen test shows a clear use by date, which must be followed. The date is always at least four weeks from your order. We cannot offer refunds for expired or unused tests, but if this happens, please contact our team and we will help where possible.
- We test Worm Count and Giardia samples the same working day they arrive at our lab, with results issued before close of business.
- Lungworm tests take longer, as they need an overnight process, so we release results the following working day.
Order before 3pm Monday-Friday for same day dispatch, which we send on a 24 hour service. All orders over £40 and all subscriptions qualify for free delivery.
If your screen is urgent and you would prefer to send a sample directly to the lab, please contact us and we will give you a Unique Lab Reference number and help you with what to do.

Further information
A triple screen offers excellent value and is suitable for cats and dogs. The screen conveniently and economically allows you to undertake a worm egg screen, lungworm screen and giardia, offering a considerable saving compared to ordering the screens separately.
The purpose of screening is to determine if there is a mature internal parasite burden at the time the sample was taken. If so, the species of parasite(s) will be identified, so that targeted and appropriate treatment can be given. Our triple screen is very comprehensive, providing accurate identification as well as quantitative results for each species of parasite where appropriate.
Why Regular Testing Matters
Routine parasite screening is an important part of maintaining your pet’s long-term health. Even pets without symptoms can carry parasites that affect their wellbeing and spread infection to others. Using our Dog Worm Count Test Triple Saver Pack, you can monitor and detect issues early saving time and unnecessary discomfort for your pet.
Three separate samples are required for this screen; a separate one day sample will be used for each of the wormcount and giardia tests. A three day sample will be used to screen for lungworm.
The kits come with full instructions of the requirements and we recommend they are read and followed exactly.
This kit has been designed to provide ultimate sample protection during transit, whilst also minimising our environmental impact as far as practically possible. The kit includes:
- One recyclable padded envelope, made with 60% recycled material
- One free tracked return 24hr postage label
- One white paper laboratory request form (worm count test) with instruction sheet
- One red paper laboratory request form (lungworm test) with instruction sheet
- One blue paper laboratory request form (giardia test) with instruction sheet and use by date
- Three recyclable sample collection boxes in resealable write-on panelled bags
- Two biodegradable second sealable bags
- One biodegradable natural wood sampling spoon
All parasites are reported with their English and Latin names, which is useful if veterinary intervention is required.
Report 1 – Worm Count Test
Tested and issued the same working day the sample arrives into the lab. The worm egg screen will identify and quantify of all species present within the family groups of:
- Ascarids
- Hookworms
- Whipworms
- Threadworms
In addition, as standard, this screen also reports on:
- All species of cestodes (Tapeworms*)
- Protozoa – Coccidia
- Undigested lipids (qualitative analysis)
- Undigested microscopic food particles (qualitative analysis)
*Tapeworms are very intermittent shedders and do not always show on a worm egg screen. If present in the sample, the species will be identified. As they may not have been present when the sample was taken, it is advisable to use regular tapeworm specific treatment.
Report 2 – Giardia Test
Tested and issued the same working day the sample arrives into the lab. Using antigen technology, a separate report will be provided for the giardia lamblia antigens associated with the presence of giardia protozoan
Report 3 – Lungworm Test
The test is commenced the same working day that it arrives into the lab. As it is an extended screen, it runs overnight and the results are issued the following working day. The report will include all species of lungworm currently present in the UK associated with the specific type of animal (i.e. dog or cat) being screened.
If your dog or cat has been outside the UK, please contact us.
This triple screen comes with complete instructions for each portion of the test. Please note that it requires two one day and a three-day sample. Please take the samples from the first motion of the day and store the lungworm samples at room temperature whilst collecting.
